Our dear Morris hated sailing more than he loved us so he elected to stay in Moss Landing.  He has a loving family Dirk & Marilyn to care for him but we miss him…..he was a “Piece of Work”

Maggie…..

Loyal and true blue and what a trooper.   When we started she wasn’t a real sailing fan but, unlike Morris, she loved us more than she hated sailing.  Now she’s quite the sailing kitty.  She’s a lot of company and seems to really enjoy it out here.

Now this is the kind of crew to have...they don’t complain and are always there when you need a hug.

The newest addition to Effie are the dinghy davits Alan just installed.  This will allow us to keep the dinghy out of the water at night when we are in anchorages and will also free up the bow of the boat when we’re underway.  (We use to store the dinghy upside down on the bow of the boat while underway.)  What a great improvement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
