     We started our dream on August 4th, 2004…...we’ll actually the dream actually started 10 years before that when the planning began.  We started on “Whisper” a 22’ Catalina sailing in the Northern California Lakes, San Francisco Bay, and one of our favorites, Tamales Bay.  We graduated to a Traveler 32 named “Misty” that we kept in Sausalito. 

     Our dream was to become “Cruisers” and live aboard and sail the world.  When we moved to Santa Cruz in 1999 we sold “Misty” and were boat-less for a couple of years while we searched for the perfect boat.  In January 2001 we found “Effie” in Marina Del Rey.  “Effie” is a Morgan 43, center cockpit and has turned into our home away from home.

     She was named in honor of Grandma Effie for her spirit of adventure and warm, caring nature.  At times we feel her with us on our adventures and know she’s up there watching over us.

     Please share in our pictures and stories of our adventures and always keep in touch……….we love the cruising lifestyle but cherish our family and friends.
